Burton Constable Hall
As part of a wider project to explore country houses in the East Riding, a group of learners visited Burton Constable Hall to explore a new environment.
The learners had some physical disabilities and were studying basic and life skills between milestone 5 and entry level 2.
The visit to Burton Constable Hall and follow up work fitted with ASDAN accredited courses the students were working on, including ‘Creativity’ and ‘Making Pictures’. Literacy and communication skills were improved by asking questions during the trip and writing thank-you letters afterwards.
