When working with Skills for Life learners, it is important that museum, library and archive (mla) staff are aware of the content of the curriculum. Feedback from Skills for Life tutors shows that resources produced or activities developed need to be mapped to the relevant curriculum if they are going to use these activities with their learners.
Many mla activities can be used to successfully support the core curriculum. The following documents demonstrate how mla activities can support speaking and listening, reading, writing and numeracy activities.
